Introduction
Dandara is bringing forward proposals for development of land at Badsell Farm, Paddock Wood and East Capel.
The site is allocated in the adopted Borough Local Plan as part of the planned strategic growth around Paddock Wood, including land in East Capel. Dandara’s Site forms the South Western parcel. The proposed growth around Paddock Wood aims to provide not only new homes but also associated infrastructure, facilities and green space.
Dandara has now submitted a hybrid planning application to Tunbridge Wells Borough Council for the development of the Site. The application reference is: 26/01233/HYBRID and can be found on Tunbridge Wells Borough Council’s planning portal. Please go to our Phase one tab to find out more about the submitted application.
The application seeks full planning permission for Phase one, comprising 272 homes and associated infrastructure, alongside outline planning permission for the wider Site, delivering approximately 520 homes in total together with a local centre (encompassing healthcare provision), sports facilities, open green space and enhanced walking and cycling connections.
The plans include a health and wellbeing hub, open green space, play space and equipped children’s play alongside new walking and cycling routes to increase connectivity.
